GSMA Mobile Asia Expo Ended

GMSAOn June 28, 2013, the GSMA Mobile Asia Expo and GMGC (Global Mobile Game Confederation) Game Zone, organized by GMGC and sponsored by Socogame, ended at Shanghai Pudong International Exhibition Center. During the three-day event, the GMGC Game Zone, with its interactive Texas Hold’em, left attendees a deep impression. At the same time, the ads for GMGC 2014 and Startup World Cup finals also attracted the attention of many visitors. From the perspective of brand exposure, this expo has enhanced GMGC brand awareness and its international influence as well.

Song Wei expressed his gratitude to the GMGC member companies that attended this year's GMGC Game Zone of GSMA: DeNA, 91 Wireless, Guanghou Good321, Guangzhou Yinhan, Shanghai Socogame, GMGC, Linekong, qopoo.com, and Texas Hold'em.

He also thanked GMGC members for their presence and sharing. Attending guests included Linekong CEO Wang Feng, Socogame CEO Shen Ye, DeNA China CEO Wang Yong, Gameloft China General Manager Chen Xunda, Pearl in Palm CEO Wu Chunlei, Muhenet CEO Wu Bo, CWAN CEO Chen Yichao, Technode CEO Lu Gang, Director of China Unicom, Chen Xiang, CMGE President Ying Shuling, AppAnnie Asia Pacific Vice President Yu Junde, NEOWIZ Games China CEO Shin Dongyuan, GMGC DK CEO Jakob and so on.

During this forum, Socogame CEO Shen Ye shared his views on "How to build a global ecosystem for mobile game publishers?" Socogame has been making efforts in global distribution. It launched in May this year a self-developed game "Burning Vegetables" and is now making its way to a social game.

Director Chen Xiang of China Unicom, representing carriers, made a keynote speech on "How do operators think of the development of mobile games and apps". He gave details on the games and cases of the Wostore, as well as on the carriers’ pipeline and PUSH capacity.

The forum also included keynotes on "Mobile game operators and distribution", "Game brand development", "Different global players: how to balance the internal and external resources? Define your strategic direction and distribution" etc.

Erich, GSMA Global Partner Director, exchanged ideas and experience with GMGC Secretary-General Mr. Song Wei, and discussed long-term cooperation plans for GMGC and GSMA. The two sides are very confident in the thematic exhibitions and interactive activities of 2014 GMSA-MA Mobile Asia Expo.
